October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and although here at Belle Lingerie we believe there shouldn't be just one month, we wanted to take this opportunity to share stats and the best bras for post-op and comfort.
Firstly we can't urge you enough (both men and women) to Look, Feel and Repeat. Look to see if there are any changes in your breast area, for example, any noticeable lumps or new rashes. Have a good feel of yourself. Get to know your body, so if there is a change such as a lump you can stop it. Finally, keep checking. You should be checking yourself on repeat, whether that's daily in the shower or weekly, you could even have a reminder in your calendar! As we've said before, October may be Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but that doesn't mean you can stop checking your self for the rest of the year.
Seeing the stats above can be a scary thought, but we want to make all our customers aware of the seriousness of Breast Cancer. Also, we want to draw your attention to the fact that Breast Cancer does not only affect females. Of course, male diagnosis is a very low percentage but it can't be ignored.
So, what's Breast Cancer Awareness got to do with Belle Lingerie? Well, here at Belle Lingerie our aim is to make everyone feel confident and fabulous in lingerie and that includes if anyone is going through the dreadful journey of breast cancer.
