I think we can all unite in saying that summer is officially over which can only mean one thing, out with the old and in with the new. I think it’s always a good idea to give your lingerie drawer a spring clean once in a while and with the arrival of lingerie brands new autumn/winter collections, now is the perfect time. We have been spoilt for choice this year as brands have pulled out all the stops to create some head turning ranges in beautiful new colour combinations. Every year there are new colour trends which dominate the lingerie catwalks and today I will be showing you my favourite new colour trends for autumn/winter 2015.

BLACK & BLUE

Black and cobalt blue is set to be one of the top colour combinations of the season, which I am extremely excited about as it is one of my all-time favourites. Black will always be a timeless classic when it comes to lingerie but the introduction of subtle colour changes, like blue, adds another dimension to the lingerie and creates a modern twist. The subtle contrast of the dark colours creates sophistication and oozes sexiness. Popular brands such as Freya, Fantasie & Panache have all embraced this latest colour trend, which is evident in their autumn/winter 2015 collections. Two of my favourite new ranges are Francesca by Fantasie and Tango by Panache.
The Fantasie Francesca has been designed with a black base and cobalt blue detailing in the embroidery, which works really well. The delicate hints of cobalt flow beautifully with the black embroidery & base and do not over power the overall design.
Tango is one of Panaches most popular ranges which is why I was so pleased to see it back in black and teal blue. Even though there are only small hints of blue, seen on the leaf embroidery and satin bows, the understated mix of colours exudes elegance and isn’t too over the top, which is what this colour trend is really all about.

BERRY

Move over classic red because berry is set to dominate in the top lingerie trends this season. Think rich, warming and bold, because that is what you are going to get with the new ‘berry’ colour trend, which is set to be huge for autumn/winter 2015. It is so refreshing to see a variety of red and purple tones compared to the usually classic reds or violet purples. I find the richer tones of berry and plum a lot more enticing & sexy. Popular lingerie brands such as Freya, Curvy Kate and Fantasie have all produced ranges in their autumn/winter 2015 collections that feature these gorgeous berry tones and two of my favourites are Hero and Hypnotise by Freya Lingerie.
Hero is a timeless classic which combines subtle design with a bold block colour. Created with a rich and indulgent purple berry tone, the Freya Hero collection is perfect for adding some colour to your autumn lingerie collection. The semi sheer mesh panels add excitement and sexiness to the Hero range.
Hypnotise, also by Freya, incorporates a range of berry tones, from deep pinks to rich purples. The digital floral print effect, which is also on trend for this season, enhances the rich tones and adds a modern twist to the classic floral design. Intricate embroidery on the cups of the Hypnotise balcony plunge bra adds detail and a feminine touch to the collection.
