The best way
to get over your winter blues is to book yourself a getaway to somewhere hot
and exotic. There is no better feeling than knowing you will soon be lying on a
white sandy beach and gazing into crystal blue waters, especially during this
freezing cold weather. And holidays mean one thing, swimwear galore! I don’t know
about you but I seem to find any excuse to treat myself to a new bikini or
swimsuit. Everyone wants to look radiant and feel refreshed on their summer
break and investing in some new swimwear will be sure to help do this.
Freya Tootsie- Poppy Red
Today I have
chosen to look at the Tootsie range by Freya. The main reason I have picked
this range, other than it being totally gorgeous, is the variety and versatility
it has. There are a range of styles, sizes and best of all colours, meaning
there is something to suit everyone. The coloured
stripes and oversized bows give the Tootsie collection a very retro inspired
look; I can almost imagine it being featured on a 60’s pin-up poster. This fun and
flirty style will certainly turn a few heads as you relax on the beach or by
the pool. The range is
made up of a halter-neck swimsuit, bandeau tankini top, sweetheart bikini top,
bandeau bikini top, fold bikini briefs, fold bikini shorts, low rise bikini briefs
and classic briefs. Can you see what I mean when I say the range has variety?
Freya Tootsie- Black Freya Tootsie- Magenta
If you
wanted coverage on your tummy area than the swimsuit or bandeau tankini top
would be ideal for you. The tankini style is great because it feels like a
bikini with the separate bottoms but it gives you more coverage. The detachable
straps gives you the option to have a bandeau style, perfect for avoiding tan strap
marks. If you felt like you needed some extra lift then the straps would help
to do this. The underwire also gives you extra lift and ensures that you are
properly supported which is particularly important if you have a larger bust.
The swimsuit,
which is non-wired, has light padding in the triangle cups which creates a wonderful
shape and gives you extra lift. Even though the Tootsie swimsuit does not
feature underwire, it is fully lined which will give you ample support. The
halter-neck strap is adjustable so you can tighten or loosen it according to
your preference. The swimsuit has a particularly retro look which I adore.

If you are
set on getting a bikini then the two styles of bikini tops and three styles of bikini
briefs that the Tootsie range offers allows you to create your perfect bikini combination. If you
dislike tan lines than the bandeau style bikini top is perfect for you as it
means you are strap free, although it does come with detachable straps if you
ever did need them. The foam cups and underwire help to create a gorgeous shape
and give you added support and lift. Sometimes if
you are larger busted then having a bikini top that gives you maximum lift is a
must and the sweetheart bikini top will be sure to give you this. The straps
are similar to the ones you would find on a normal bra which means you can
adjust them according to your preference. The underwire and light padding in the
cups create a wonderful shape and will give you maximum support. The stunning
sweetheart neck-line gives you a beautiful natural looking cleavage that anyone
would want to show off.
