one to something special. Lingerie is the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day
because it not only pleases your other half it pleases you as well. I know the lingerie
world can often be a very confusing place for you men, particularly when you
are trying to buy lingerie for your partner but don’t worry as long as you
follow our three simple tips you will win them over every time. There are so many things to think about when buying lingerie
for your partner; finding the right size, finding the right style but most
importantly finding something that they are actually going to like and wear. Our

SIZE IS KEY- Getting your
partners size right is the most important thing you need to think about when
purchasing lingerie. If you get the wrong size then she will either be polite
and not tell you and never wear the lingerie or have to mess about trying to
exchange it for a different size. Both of these can easily be avoided though.
So how do you find her size? It’s simple take a look in her lingerie drawer. It
is a good thing to remember what lingerie she wears the most often as this will
indicate what her current size is. All you have to do is look at the labels on
your partner’s bras and knickers and bam your have her size. It is important to
take note of both the band size and cup size on the bra, for example it might
say 34D (this is the full bra size.)
WOULD
SHE ACTUALLY WEAR IT?- Another
important question to ask yourself before buying lingerie for your other half
is are they actually going to like and wear it. It can be difficult to know
what colours and styles your partner prefers but like before the easiest thing to
do is just look. Take a peek inside your partner’s wardrobe and lingerie
drawer. Are there colours or styles that appear often, if so this will most
likely be her preference. If you are feeling brave then why don't you try something a little
different to what your partner might usually wear. We ladies tend to get in the
habit of buying underwear with the same style and colour as it becomes routine
but your other half might appreciate trying something new and exciting. It may
be worth taking the risk.
Finding the
right style of bra for your partner can also be an issue which is why I always
suggest getting a balcony bra as this style is suited to most bust shapes and
sizes and most importantly it looks great on.
GET
THE MATCHING SET- If you are
treating your partner to a lingerie ‘set’ then make sure you get the matching
lingerie set. When we ladies are being treated to some sexy new underwear the
last thing we want is to receive a black bra and red knickers. Make sure that
when you are looking for a lingerie set you check to see that they have both
the bra and knickers in your partner’s size, otherwise you will be getting a
few surprised looks, and not in a good way. Plus there's nothing more sexy than matching lingerie.
