Curvy Kate certainly know how to throw a party... even on a Monday! Last night, we joined our friends at Curvy Kate for a fabulous launch party for the all-new 'Girls Night' collection, featuring gorgeous styles, like Flutterby, Superplunge Lace, Sparks Fly and many more! As you can imagine, the whole night was... well, very 'girly' to say the least! From wall to wall, the 'Girls Night' collection logo was prominent on almost anything and everything in sight. From balloons, to scrumptious cupcakes, to the photo-booth backdrop and even the ultra-girly goodie bags that were offered to guests, throughout the evening, the words 'Girls Night' were there to remind us that this collection is an ESSENTIAL for your next night out on the town!
The launch party kicked off at The Lost Society, in Battersea, London, with a warm welcome and complimentary drinks, as other guests arrived at the venue, including members of the Curvy Kate team, models for the new collection and influencers/bloggers. The majority of the guests sported pieces from the 'Girls Night' collection, teamed with their own unique outfits, featuring garments from the likes of ASOS, SkinnyDip, BooHoo and other fabulous fashion retailers, but there was one range from the 'Girls Night' collection that seemed to be causing quite a stir - Sparks Fly!
The Sparks Fly body was an evident, firm favourite throughout the evening, with many models, influencers and lingerie-enthusiasts dancing the night away, in true glamour. The body was teamed with black jeans, classic, denim jeans, blazers and semi-sheer blouses to create the ultimate party look. One of our favourite looks that featured the Sparks Fly body was that of @chloeriannewoods, as pictured above. Chloe opted for flattering black jeans, a semi-sheer, timeless, polka-dot blouse and a simple, black belt, with enlarged, silver hoops to bring the outfit together. Chloe even took the Sparks Fly body to a new level, with striking, hot pink eye makeup and glistening nails, to complete the look. If there's one thing we've learned from Chloe's outfit, as we're sure you'll agree, it's to wear all black and let the Sparks Fly range do the talking!
Superplunge Lace was another eye-catcher, throughout the evening. It's Curvy Kate's brand new (and lowest ever) plunge bra, featuring lightly padded cups that offer great and natural-looking uplift, with an ingenious, underwired design, offering a beautifully, well-rounded shape. A number of guests were seen showing off the Superplunge Lace bra with a variety of outfits, and even the DJ was rocking a fun and feminine look, as she paired the bra with a sophisticated, white jacket.
Since their birth, Curvy Kate have always been passionate about ensuring every woman is wearing the correct bra size, as to get the most from the luscious shapes and ready-to-wear styles they're renowned for. This has been showcased in their recent #IAmCurvyKate campaign - a campaign which saw women of all shapes and sizes photographed wearing Curvy Kate bras in their own size, to give you a better indication of what different styles would look like on a body like yours! But it doesn't stop there! Last night, Curvy Kate offered a bra-fitting service as part of their fabulous 'Girls Night' launch party offering, to ensure that everyone could enjoy the new collection, confident in the knowledge that they were wearing the correct size.
As its breast cancer awareness month, the 'Girls Night' goodie bags were filled with leaflets, serving as reminders of the importance of checking your breasts for signs of anything abnormal, along with Benefit makeup, eye masks and other girly extras!
