It’s always
nice to wear a matching lingerie set but mixing and matching two different
ranges or colours can work just as well and today I will be showing you how. If you’re
going to mix and match different ranges then I would always suggest you choose
two that have a similar style and incorporate the same kind of colours, just
like the two Curvy Kate ranges I will be showing you today. Taking a colour
that has been used for a detail in a bra for instance can be taken and used in
the brief like below, I have taken the topaz detailing in the Curvy Kate Jewel
range and used the Curvy Kate Cascade topaz brief to match. I think this colour
combination works beautifully and it just shows you, you don’t necessarily need
the matching set to look fabulous and the best thing about mixing and matching
is the versatility, you can create four lingerie sets out of just two.
The design
of both the Curvy Kate Jewel and Cascade ranges are very similar which is why
they work so well together. They both feature a balcony bra and two options for
bottoms which all include stunning lace detailing and bold colour choices. The underwired
balcony style is great for giving you incredible lift, shape and support and the
sweetheart neckline creates a beautiful natural cleavage. Both the bras have
adjustable straps and a hook and eye fastening on the back which allow you to
adjust them according to your personal preference.
It’s the
detailing in the bras I love the most. Intricate embroidered lace can be found
on the cups of the Curvy Kate Jewel balcony bra and a more contemporary diamond
embroidery can be found on the cups of the Curvy Kate Cascade balcony bra.
